Cenikor Corpus Christi, formerly Charlie’s Place Recovery Center, believes in healing the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.

With a combination of research, experience, and compassion, our team can get to the underlying issues to create sustainable sobriety. Clients take part in individual counseling, process groups, and 12-step fellowships to treat all aspects of addiction.

With integrated services, we offer a full continuum of care at the Corpus campus. Clients start at the appropriate level of care needed—typically detox and/or inpatient residential—and step down to outpatient, aftercare, and/or recovery housing.

The Veterans Administration sent there originally just to detox which turned into inpatient program and later developed into sober living. The experience left me great full for my recovery. The counselor and techs which are awesome people, very knowledgeable about recovery. That was last year and I'm still sober today. Thanks to God.

I have not been to this facility as for the older location was still in operation when I went for treatment. I must say that most of the negative comments are from individuals who can't or will not take responsibility for themselves. It is imperative that people who attend this place focus on themselves and their own desire to stop using. You dont need someone to fluff your pillow or be all cozy at some fancy rehab to get sober and clean. You need to be ready to accept the help this excellent rehab provides. If your still complaining once you have completed this course, then you didn't apply yourself to this simple program. You must really want it to make it.

I have the opportunity to intern here as a student and I have to say I absolutely love the staff here! Grace was extremely helpful and she made sure to do what she could to help me graduate. The counselors were amazing each in their own way I learned so much from them. All the staff made me feel supported.
